rouge et noir renouvelé

rouge_noir_renouvele

Treat Street Bicycle Works (a.k.a. Bike Man Ben) fixed up le Rouge et Noir with some new upright handlebars and new butterfly pedals.

I got the black leather grips with red stitching at Freewheel on Hayes.

Riding around with all these changes makes me feel like I've sprung onto a new bike!

This photo was taken on Sunset Blvd in SF on Sunday, Feb 28, 2010 on the NOPA VELO ride to the site of the Broderick-Terry Duel.

Next to my helmet, my fishnets receive more compliments than any other article of clothing in my wardrobe.

And they get around, too.

c'est l'amour fou

Another night out on the town. Another night returning home drunk with my dysfunctional boyfriend, le motobécane. I even put on my fishnets for him when we go out.

it must be summer in SF...

because I'm sporting the layered look lately!

Me voilà sur mon joli Motobécane en rouge et noir. Vintage tiger print skirt from London, purchased at a $5 sale at a second hand store on Fillmore Street. Alpaca wool 3/4 length fingerless gloves from Peru, fairly traded. Short angora sweater (also second hand) from Crossroads on Haight Street. Bike from Craigslist!
