We've seen dogs in baskets, dogs in messenger bags, dogs in backpacks and dogs on leashes. Here's a backpack that gives new meaning to doggie bag. I imagine the pups rather enjoy the ride, and you can bring your best friend wherever you go!

Sometimes I don't always have my nice camera with me, but those are precisely the moments when beautiful people on their bicycles surround me, like this late afternoon down by the ballpark, when cycle-fashionistas seemed to be everywhere I looked. So at the very least, I give you low-res vogue taken with my phone.

3. She will consequently affectionately scratch your bald head.

A great day at the ballpark on Saturday at the Giants' Stadium. Cyclists came in droves showing off their team spirit in orange and black (nice wig):


And as I've previously mentioned, thanks to the SF Bicycle Coalition, you can safely drop off your bike at the free valet bike parking station on the south side of the stadium:


You may want to use this feature so you can enjoy the game with the peace of mind that your fancy ride (or not-so-fancy) is safe and sound:

I think the combination of the beautiful weather and the support from fans motivated our Giants to squash the Phillies 8 - 2!

My dad has season's tickets to the Giants, and so I am filled with fanatic elation when Spring comes! I attended my first game yesterday, and was thrilled to be able to park my bike at the SF Bicycle Coalition's free valet parking at the Giants Stadium. There were several other cyclists attending the game, sporting all different styles, like this messenger girl in her black mini with leggings, dreadlock ponytails tucked underneath her baseball cap, not to mention the cutest koala bear backpack and pink fixie.


If only cycling were as American as baseball and apple pie.
