What Would Jesus Do?

Follow in the footsteps of the Lord, and ride that bike!

You can find this miracle of a t-shirt at Jesus Skid.

Marin For a Day

I was staying at my mom's house in Mill Valley for the past week. Sunday was a gorgeous sunny day, so I decided to go for a Bike Ride (yes, Mikael, remember that?).

This is for the Bike Wardrobe Remix.

Long bicycle t-shirt: My DLR in Chicago
Velo Love necklace: gifted from a wonderful Sao Paolo cyclist
Jeans: DKNY SOHO

Folding Bike: KHS Latte

Beautiful white cat: Oakland SPCA
Plus, it's Cloud's Birthday today! Please wish her a meowy birthday filled with brushing, snuggling and bonito flakes!

it's fun to be Obama-crazy

It seems like the population of the entire country is in love with our new and much improved President! The Obamamania makes it feel a bit like Spring is in the air, and you know what? It's fun to be in love! It's fun to be crazy about someone! And it's about time that our leader doesn't make us feel depressed and sick to our stomachs!

On the afternoon of the inauguration of #44, I was relaxing in the sun at Dolores Park when this girl in an Obama t-shirt started doing "O's" in the grass on her cruiser.

Celebrations continued throughout the evening, with people dancing in the streets. And if you didn't hear about it already, some cool SFers changed all the streets signs along Bush Street to read Obama Street for the day... before the cops changed them back.

Laughing Squid posted some cool pics of the signs going up, too. It seems like everyone's happy to ride down Obama Street, and I'll tell you what, so far, we're enjoying the ride.

freestyle girl

This freestyle girl stopped doing tricks to pose for a pic on this sunny afternoon in the Panhandle.

I've been having dreams about cute little bikes like hers. Maybe I should adopt one.

engaging

Here's a pretty girl with a classic casual California look: red miniskirt with flip flops and a cute girl-tee, casually engaging the kickstand on her blue 10-speed as she settles in to hang with her pals for an afternoon party in the Panhandle. (NB: Enjoy a 40 oz. at your own discretion.)

feeling free

The Panhandle is a great place to see kids freestyling on their bikes. This guy riding hands free is a case in point. There's a small patch of asphalt where people practice their tricks. Otherwise I wouldn't advise doing this on a bike lane, unless you are really well-balanced.

She's pretty.

Is it wrong to post a photo of a pretty girl on a bicycle just because I like how she looks? This one's wearing jeans and a t-shirt; so, I think I was taken with her scarf and trendy glasses. She's also riding in the rain.

it's only rock and roll...

but I like it!

The Stones fan that I am, of course my head turns every time I see a Rolling Stones tongue. And apparently mine wasn't the only head turning! I could be wrong, but I believe this is a design that I've seen at Upper Playground in the Lower Haight. Take a moment to take in this cute young hipster lounging on his fixie, killing time, probably just waitin' on a friend.
