Maybe she has a black and white skirt in that bag? Light and ruffled and she feared it would get caught in her spokes?
Otherwise I'm stumped too.
I agree that it must have been something like that.
Yup, odds are that she's got a skirt in that bag. Personally, I would have left the tights in the bag, too, but whatever suits. Contrary to all of these fashion blogs, all skirts are not bike friendly. Too tight, too short, too uphill....
