Mind The Gap - Biking in the rain

Just in time for some more rainy weather here in SF! Check out the video, guys and gals, and pick up some biking in the rain tips from yours truly* and some very knowledgeable and practical gents.

This segment will be included in the documentary work-in-progress Mind The Gap, by filmmaker and fellow urban cyclist Laura Lukitsch.

*Yes, I have a flat tire. We realized that after filming. This has been corrected in real life.

You could start putting some actual air in your rear tire. else your journey might find a sudden end when crossing a road curb.

Looks like I arrived in SF just in time for some rain! Thankfully, both of my SF bikes have nice fenders (although I need to get my Lugano assembled, it's still in the box from the flight)!

From the video, I think Tim needs to get a chainguard, rolling up your pants in your sock is so undignified... ;-)

I'll be doing the SF2G Bayway this Friday, by the way. I'll be here for two weeks, so I'm counting on you to keep me informed of the cycling happenings in your town!

Bienvenue à San Francisco!

I will be out of town this weekend, but if you're here for 2 weeks I can definitely keep you posted on the good stuffs going on.

There might be an SF Bike Party this Friday starting at 7 pm at the ballpark. Let me check.

Between coming in a bit late to work for the SF2G Bayway and a team outing (which is kind of why I'm here!), I won't be able to make it, but I'm sure other something will come along!
