I love nearly anything with wheels and pedals, but there is one notable exception; I really don't get the whole Stingray thang, even though I'm of an age where I'm supposed to have coveted/owned one in my youth.
Hmmm... That's an oddity. Stingrays look like good fun to me. And I am of the age of which you speak.
Yeah these pictures are so beautiful. thanks for sharing it...
"That's an oddity."I fully understand I'm in the minority on this one, but back in the day I couldn't wait to outgrow my 20" wheel bike (candy apple red Western Flyer "Tank" bike with a jet plane fender ornament) and get a Holstein (black and white "Dutch"), a proper grown up bike for proper grown up transportational use.Even at toy appreciation age the stingray always looked like an impractical, uncomfortable and goofy toy to me; but then I buttoned my shirts all the way to he top too, so what do I know?
My first bike love was a 1971 Fair Lady Stingray. I still adore it!
